When using our driver app, you trust us with your personal information. Since keeping your trust is of utmost importance to us, we’d like to help you understand our privacy practices. This document describes the personal data we process, how we use and share it, and your choices regarding this data.
Scope
This document describes how Solutions 4 Delivery B.V., hereinafter referred to as S4D, our company, or we, and its affiliates treat the privacy of the users of this app. The app provides ease of delivery for drivers, improves the kitchen flow in store and allows for better customer support. This policy covers the following stakeholder:
● The driver app, or the app, is made available by S4D to its clients to simplify the delivery of food orders.
● The clients of S4D whose drivers and managers use the driver app.
● The users of the app who are employed by the client, including:
○ The drivers, or the deliverers of orders placed by the client’s customers.
○ The store managers who use the app to track the store’s performance.
● The customers are the client's customers, who are the recipients of the food delivered
by the driver.
Point of Contact
The app, which is developed and owned by S4D, is made available to our company’s clients. Questions about the app and this privacy policy can be shared with S4D via email ([email protected]) or via text message (+31 020 214 6222).
If you want to know what personal data is processed by us, you can send a written request to the mail address mentioned above. We will handle your request within three weeks. We may ask you to identify yourself. If your information appears to be incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can make an additional request to have your details changed or supplemented. You can also ask for deletion of your data, request to limit the processing of your data or object to it.
Should you have a complaint about our processing of personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Which data are collected?
We only collect and process the data needed for optimal use of the app. The collection and processing of this data is covered by the data processing agreement that S4D has with its clients. The app collects and uses the following data:
GPS location
We track the driver’s GPS location to enable and enhance the use of our app. We only collect data if the driver allows us to do so. Tracking the location allows the app to simplify daily tasks for both drivers and the store and will allow them to increase productivity and provide better service.
The driver must give explicit consent for location tracking. When using the app for the first time, the driver will see a notification on the home page stating that the app tracks the location. The notification also contains a link to the FAQs, which contain more information about Privacy and Location Tracking. The driver can withdraw the consent at any time.
The app only tracks the driver’s location when delivering an order to the customer, or when the app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen). When running in the background (app open and not on-screen) the app can only track the location if a delivery is in progress. The app will automatically stop tracking the location of the driver after an hour, or when the driver finishes an order, closes the app or logs out.
The data about the location is not shared with any third parties. Only S4D processes the data to provide the franchisees of the corresponding store for which the driver works with the correct information.
Data about deliveries
The app collects data about the deliveries that are performed by the driver. This includes, among other things, the time it took for the driver to deliver an order, how many orders the driver has delivered and the average value of the orders the driver has delivered.
Customer details
The customer data is processed according to the data processing agreements S4D has with its clients. When placing an order the customer agrees that the provided data is stored and used in line with the practices mentioned in the client’s privacy policy.
Handling of the data
Within S4D, we apply security measures to ensure an appropriate level of data security. More information can be requested via [email protected].
Storage and deletion of the data
S4D does not store the personal data processed for longer than necessary for the purpose of the data processing or as long as required by the Dutch Archives Act.
